Summary: Our proprietor has a keen sense of humour coupled with an astute business mind. This tightly run ship reflects this and is to be congratulated. We liked the building, the room was spacious, airy and clean, beds so comfortable, lots of hot water for the powerful shower. The buffet breakfast was tradition at its best and of course, very well presented. Would liked to have stayed longer,....Poland beckons!

Summary: Wasn't really sure what to expect of the town or the gastehaus but very pleasantly surprised by both. Accommodation was perfect for our party of four and breakfast excellent. Very good value for money and a great place to stay. It's a decent walk into town but there is also a bus. Enjoyed our trips over the bridge into Poland. Altogether a really interesting place to visit.

Summary: Beautiful historic property that the pictures don't do justice to such as the breakfast room was nicely furnished and there was a fresh tulip on each table. Breakfast had a large selection well presented. The room was quiet and large room.

Summary: Wanted to see Goerlitz and the Gastehaus Lisakowski was ideal. The building dates back to the nineteenth century but suitably modernised whilst retaining its period character. Warm welcome. English spoken. Was able to park on the street right next door. Free map provided. It is about half a kilometre's walk or a short drive to the city centre. Clean room, Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Excellent value overall. Can recommend. Goerlitz (aka Goerliwood) is well worth a visit and the Gastehaus Lisakowski in particular.
