Gut Stangs is a former farm built around 1890. The stone building has been completely restored and is now fully let as a holiday house with 10 rooms. Gut Stangs is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of the historic center of Eynatten. The rooms are between 17-20 square meters. All rooms have queen or queen queen beds and en-suite bathrooms. For the get-together is a large living room with open kitchen and fireplace and in good weather, a spacious terrace. Summary: Gut Stangs is a wonderful house with luxurious interiors and a wonderful landlady (Anna) who is kindness personified. We (19 adults, no kids) arrived on Saturday before New Years and were absolutely blown away by the wonderful house - every double room has an ensuite bath with either a large shower with rainwater shower heads and regular shower heads or a bathtub. A sink and a toilet is also included, of course. In addition, there is a communal guest WC on the ground floor. The rooms are spread out over the house - some on the ground floor, some on the upper floor. Regardless of where you are sleeping, the rooms are sound proofed enough so that you can sleep undisturbed, even when there are people hanging out in the main living area. The main living area, with the kitchen, dining tables and the seating arrangements, is large, very comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen is large enough so that larger groups of people can help out with chopping and cooking. There is more than enough cutlery, tableware and utensils to cook. The main living area offers more than enough space to relax in the evenings - there is also a fireplace that we often used. The three dining tables offer enough space to play board games in the evening or just to sit and have a nice cup of tea. The large garden could be used for lawn games and such, as we were staying during the winter time, we didn't make use of the garden. Another wonderful thing is that the house offers an outside fireplace - including a circular grill, which can be used to bake bread, roast marshmallows and just offers another wonderful opportunity to relax and cook. There is also another large room attached to the house that had a table tennis table, another fridge/freezer combo and some small football goals. We used this room quite often to play table tennis, work out and store some of the food. In addition, the sauna and hot tub are wonderful and very conveniently located and many of us spent quite a lot of time in the hot tub and the sauna. This house is, without a doubt, one of the best houses we've ever stayed in. We're a large group of friends who always meet for New Years and this has been a wonderful week, not alone due to the beauty of the house and the kindness of Anna, the landlord. We are definitely going to stay there again.
