Summary: Great location!Super clean!Surprisingly quiet at night

Summary: The music is very loud at night. Internet is weak at night when clubs are packed. TV's have Roku and no instructions on how to make it work. Stayed 4 nights and could not get TV to work. Contacted owner and she suggested I try 4 fixes that did not work. She then suggested I drive to Destin and go to a movie if I wanted to watch movies. I requested a maintenance person to come and see if they could get the TV's working and she stopped communicating with me. A man showed up in our window working on the AC and left a giant plastic bag and bucket to catch drips on our small patio. The area has been bought out by Alvin's Island and no longer has the artsy local feel it used to have. Sunrise coffee was one the best things about Gulf Place and now it is a basic chain coffee shop run by Alvin's Island. The garbage cans outside the shops smelled awful the last two days. The Gulf Place area is not the same.

Summary: Check in was easy. Very clean. Exactly as described. Cannot beat beach access. Loved the free laundry. Proximity to amenities was great. Only issue was couldn’t figure out the tvs but probably on us.

Summary: We had such a lovely stay at this condo at Gulf Place— excellent location with close proximity to many restaurants and bars, and right across the street from the beach! Cute and cozy, we loved staying here and hope to be back soon! Judith was super communicative with every aspect of our stay.

Summary: The condo was so great! Just the right size for my myself and my husband. Super clean and decorated beautifully. The shops under the condo units were nice to have and there were multiple restaurants within walking distance. The balconies are small. I don’t think there is room for 2 chairs on each one and unfortunately there was work being done on ours midweek, which made them unusable. It was not planned and the owner was not aware until I told her. Other than that, everything was great! I would definitely stay again!

Summary: This was our second time staying at this unit. We had a wonderful experience the first time, which is why we chose to return. Unfortunately, this stay did not live up to our expectations.While the unit appeared clean at first glance, it clearly needs a deep cleaning. The ice machine was unusable due to a buildup of debris and floating gunk, the Keurig machine was dirty, fridge need to be wiped down. There was also mold on the patio door, which was concerning. By the time we left, the unit was cleaner than when we arrived.Another issue was the internet, which was down from our arrival on Wednesday until Friday. This was particularly problematic as my husband works remotely and had to finish up some last minute work. Additionally, we were not informed of ongoing construction on the property. Starting at 8 a.m. each day, loud hammerdrill to remove tile made it very difficult to relax. Notices in the elevator indicated owners were informed in advance—we were not.Other smaller but frustrating issues included a TV in the bedroom that couldn’t be used due to corroded batteries in the remote, and beach chairs that were rusted and broken.We really wanted this to be another great stay like last time.On a positive note I do love the location. Walking distance to the beach and shops.
