Positive: After reading reviews for this guesthouse, I decided to book 4 nights and it turned out to be such a memorable time for me. Mr. and Mrs. Kim went above and beyond my expectations. My room was very clean and well made, prepared with a traveller's needs in mind. I could find everything I needed and more in the modern bedroom and bathroom. I stayed during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) and they threw a big dinner and party with games. Mrs. Kim cooked so many authentic delicious Korean foods that everyone had seconds and there was still a lot to spare, it was an amazing hospitality that I've never had elsewhere. Every morning, Mrs. Kim cooked breakfast and all guests sat together and chatted about their past day and current plan for the day, which helped me get to know other guests and to shape my own itinerary around Seoul. The guesthouse is located minutes away by 1 bus (or 30 mins easy walking) from the Gyeongbokgung Palace, which is close to other attractions and only steps away from the buses and trains to go to other places in the city, so the location is perfect. There were restaurants and convenient stores near it, too. They were very generous with their knowledge around things to do. I received excellent recommendations for walking trails, night markets, and how to connect the buses. I felt really taken care of and their guesthouse really felt like home to me. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and I will definitely come back! And I will tell at least 100 of my friends to stay with them! (Inside joke, haha).

Positive: The warmth and generosity of The Kims will be forever in my memory. It feels like I'm going home after a long day of wandering the city. If you like Korean food then breakfast is the most memorable meal for me. Home cooked food can't be beat to start a new day. The connection with The Kims is not something that you can ever get from Hotels no matter how many stars you get.

Positive: The moment I arrived I felt like part of the family. This guesthouse is really special and I can fully recommend it. Young In and Sam are exceptional Hosts and will try your best to help you in any way possible. Each morning Young In creates an amazing and big breakfast which you share with other guests at a big table which is an amazing way to start into the day. One day they even prepared an amazing BBQ on the Terasse for us! The house itself is always clean and spotless and its located on the outskirt of Seoul surrounded with beautiful nature and great trails to explore. There are some Restaurants, Coffeeshops and Conbinis nearby but thanks to great public transport there are frequently Buses which brings you in 20 minutes to the city center. Overall my stay was perfect and the 6 nights went by so fast but I will definitely come back next time I am in seoul! Thank you again Young In and Sam for your hospitality!

Positive: Such a unique experience and easily one of the best parts of my 3 week trip to Seoul. But it’s not about the room, or the location or even the amazing home cooked breakfast, but simply staying with the hosts Sam and Young In. My first day here I ended up on a day trip to the east coast with Sam just because he had errands to run and he offered to have me tag along, and then the following day I had a private cooking class with Young In who taught me to make kimchi which is something I really wanted to do. They are such a genuine and friendly couple and the highlight of the stay. There are so many great things I could say, and if you want to know more about the location or the facilities you can read other reviews but like I said, the hosts Sam and Young In are the real reason I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Seoul and looking for a unique and authentic experience.

Positive: The nicest guesthouse I’ve ever been to. Amazingly clean. The host are exceptionally welcoming. The Korean breakfast that Young cooks every morning with a great variety of dishes is the best way to start the day. The ambiance in the house is familiar and relaxed. They help with anything they can. The location is great, away from the crowds, near the mountains, with amazing fresh air and lots of trekking opportunities. You can reach the city walking about 20 minutes or by several buses. The Kims made my stay in Seoul very special. It was lovely to meet them.
