Positive: We are very pleased to write an excellent review about our stay in Josko apartment: which is exceptionally comfortable and clean. Every item we needed was found in its place in an amazingly well-equipped kitchen with a wide variety of dishes and kitchen utensils. On arrival, charming Katarina gave us the keys to the apartment and explained everything what we wanted to know. We even found some grapes and a bottle of mineral water in the fridge, as the owners’ present which was very pleasant. Staying in this part of Makarska has been one of our most positive experiences in many years of renting private apartments in different countries. 7 days in September 2021 flew by as one. The apartment is located within walking distance from the main shopping and entertainment areas of the town. Central market, harbor and beautiful promenade are 7-10 minutes away. We highly recommend to use a car if the guests find some difficulties in walking. We also want to comment on a nice view from the balcony to the bay and sea shore. The other balcony has the same beautiful view of the mountains. Photos do not convey the real beauty of the view. The apartment has an air conditioner, powerful enough for all 3 rooms (2 separate bedrooms). If you find the street a bit noisy, it is not a problem at all if you keep the window closed during siesta . Car parking was a little challenging for us at first because of a little slope of the road , but on the second day we got used to it and did not experience any problems. We will definitely return to the same place next year and recommend it to those guests who appreciate good quality housing and welcoming hosts for a reasonable price.
