Positive: It is a lovely family house♥️ the owners were very friendly family. It is super clean and the breakfast was really delicious. And they knocked our door when the nortern lights come :) it was around 8 pm. we saw the lights clearly from the apartments window. Specially thanks to the owners

Positive: Loved the breakfast - one of the best meals we had in Iceland. Nice view of trees from the dining room, where we lingered over our toast, lox, and tea. The rooms were clean, quiet, and just what we wanted. The woman who greeted us at the front desk (Birgid?) was so kind and welcoming. All our clothes were soaking wet from the rain, and she gave us a drying rack and, if that didn't work, offered to dry our clothes in the staff's dryer. I loved the location, surrounded by a sweeping view of a dramatic landscape.

Negative: Such a minor thing! I wished there was soap and laundry detergent available so I could scrub out a stain in my jacket. The closest restaurants and shops were about a 20-minute drive, and dinner options were limited.

Summary: Clean, quiet, safe haven that captured everything we love about Iceland.
