Summary: Beautiful guest house which has been lovingly restored. The staff are very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The guest house was, had everything we needed and felt safe. We had a beautiful rooftop terrace which was great to sit in with a glass of wine in the afternoon. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, breads and cheeses. The location felt safe and is within walking distance of the main harbour with plenty of restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful visit and will definitely return in the future.

Summary: I had a fantastic experience in Guestmar. The place is really cozy and you feel at home. A spacious room with A/C, delicious breakfast, and a terrace to relax and stargaze in the evenings is the perfect setup for a couple but also for a solo trip. Filipa went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and help me in enjoying my stay the fullest. Joao, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. His passion for the house is clear, treating it with the care and attention one would hive to their own child. His warm hospitality made my stay even more memorable. A place strongly recommended!

Summary: Its staff is very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are very clean. Best if you book a lower level room. Bedding and bed were very comfortable. Sheets smelled really good. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We had a great 3 night stay at Guest Mar. The staff were super friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious and it was very handy to be able to use the kitchen throughout the day. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Space was a bit tight in our room, but it was workable. We made use of the shared spaces - rooftop, kitchen and reading room. All in all a lovely guesthouse.
