Positive: Super friendly and attentive host David comes for every little problem to solve it at place. Very clean, tidy and comfortable house with great terrace and fireplace in the middle of nature and sheep pastures. Very quite in the area. The house is equipped with everything you may need including tea, oil, salt, sugar etc. Hope to visit it some day again!

Positive: Picture perfect cottage with original fireplace and oak beams , as well as a well tended garden looked after by a neighbour. Sally, the host, is so lovely and made us very welcome with enough for a cuppa to get us settled. The local shop was a couple of minutes walk and the Black Bill in at the bottom of the street. we also had a meal in The Station Hotel with family who live in Lancaster and everyone, including the 7 and 2 x12 year olds. We will definitely be back.

Positive: Beautiful little cottage set in a pleasant village. A very relaxed atmosphere. Everything available nearby. Wonderful fire place, spotless and well equipped kitchen. The most comfortable beds experienced.
Negative: Low beams. I knew they were there when we booked but cracked my head several times. In the end I looked forward to it.
Summary: Wonderful little cottage. A gem.
