Positive: Nice room, good location.

Negative: The walls of the room were so thin that we could hear each time the other guests were walking and their dog was barking leading to lack of privacy and sleep. Additionally, it is not mentioned that the room in basically in the basement.

Positive: It was decent. Clean bedsheets, towels and clean bathroom. Had a TV, air conditioner, hairdryer and a sofa bed. A joint kitchen in front of the rooms, also a joint outside tables and chairs.

Negative: It was very noisy. There’s no parking lot, so you have to find your own place to park.

Positive: The place was rather affordable, though you get what you pay for-quite a small room for two people.

Negative: The room we got was quite small. From the listing you don’t know if your room will have a balcony. Although it seems as if it is on a back street it was suuuper loud all day AND all night. Cars were speeding, people were yelling, there was construction super close and made noise until the late hours of the afternoon/evening.

Positive: Malusha guest house is about 5 minute walk from the the main shopping street in Gabrovo, up a short hill. On street parking is free but Malusha street is not wide, so I parked 20 meters further up on a piece of land at the brow of the hill. Following the instructions to open the key safe was not difficult. The room itself was very clean, comfortable and has a nice modern design - matching the online images. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows and I didn't hear any noise during the night. The bathroom is a good size with a great shower and plenty of hot water. The room is air conditioned and the mini-fridge kept drinks and food cool. I had breakfast on the balcony-central shared area, which has a nice view over the town and I recommend buying some delicious food from Paprika, a store at the bottom on the hill that sells beautifully prepared Bulgarian dishes at very reasonable prices. The room had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay.

Summary: Modern, nicely designed, comfortable, guest house close to the main shopping area of Gabrovo.
