Positive: The owners were incredibly kind, and even drove me to the train station early in the morning when the taxi service they tried to order for me said they wouldn’t be open that early!

Positive: It was … unusual. it was like being in a secondhand shop of amusement park curiosities. Not the room, but the … “office” and entrance. Unusual but not in a negative sense. As I was on a bicycle tour of northern Japan the guest house’s location was perfect. It was located almost halfway between my previous night’s stay in Shiraoi and my next night’s stay in Hakodate.

Negative: No substantial dislikes.

Summary: The location was perfect and the premises memorable.
