Positive: We had a lovely stay here. The grounds are beautiful as well as the hotel. The staff are very warm and catering. Highly recommend!

Negative: We were staying in the main house and our only (minor) issue is that the rooms do not have air conditioning. (This of course is not unsual throughout the UK.) However, even with the windows fully opened, we did awake in the middle of night quite warm. (The room was 24C)

Positive: The Grove is an elegant, warm and comfortable refuge cocooned in the beautiful Welsh countryside. The public rooms and bedrooms are stylish, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food is great as well. The gardens and grounds are lovely too - with lots of seating scattered around for you to sit and contemplate the local landscape.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: The grounds were beautiful, the rooms incredibly comfortable and the food exceptional.

Summary: Peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable just too short. I would recommend at least 2 nights. We’ll be back!

Positive: The Grove is peaceful, relaxing, stylish and extremely comfortable. The food is exceptional and the staff cannot do enough to make your stay at the hotel special. The grounds are charming and the hotel is a combination of old world charm, carefully curated arts and crafts in every room and the best modern amenities.

Positive: Staff were helpful. knowledgeable and very friendly... all staff knew us by name and were attentive

Negative: the bed was uncomfortable for us, purely a personal thing i guess but the mattress topper was too deep and rendered the bed uneven and sloping

Summary: definitely recommend the Grove, food was top quality as were the staff and rooms
