Positive: The walk to city center was beautiful along the canal. The owner of the property was very welcoming, breakfast was served with wonderful conversation. Honestly a perfect night and morning.

Negative: I got nothing for this.

Summary: Arrived to a warm welcome and a small tour of the property. The breakfast was absolutely perfect.

Positive: Generous, accomodating and interesting host. Amazing property with interesting and unique history. Rooms are spacious, have large comfortable beds, original artworks, bountiful refreshments incl wine as well as tea and biscuits. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful. Location ideal for a walk into centre via the canal. A great place to stay with or without a furry friend. With a dog worth noting that there are tall walls enclosing the garden giving peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Positive: The host was extremely helpful. The building and decor unique. Excellent transport links to Bath historic centre. Breakfast was superb. Local canal walk to Sydney Park and Poultney Bridge.

Positive: The place was spotless, room was large, host was delightful and food/breakfast was fabulous. I will definitely stay again.

Negative: There are lots of steep steps but it keeps one fit so I don't complain!

Positive: Richards sense of humour and help in locating dog friendly restaurants and where to visit in Bath. The location is perfect to walk the dogs, and a pleasant walk into the city (approx 25 mins).

Positive: The house is really special, it's like staying in a museum! We wanted a room with a bath and while the bath was down a couple steps in another room, the bathroom was clean and the bath was lovely. The breakfast was great too, continental but with fresh fruit, pastries, boursin etc every day. The walk to the town can be done along the canal path which is beautiful and serene and takes 25 minutes.

Negative: Parking is limited. Assumed bathroom would be en suite, which it is if you're happy with a shower. The candle holder in the hall is a bit odd but guess it's of its time?
