Positive: We arrived later than advised due to a traffic jam. It was no problem, the owner waited until our arrival and handed over the keys. We had a warm welcome with Prosecco and juice for the kids, some chocolate, tarallini and a very nice welcome postcard with pictures of Como area. The owners are very helpful and absolutely nice. There is a well prepared folder with a lot of information about the region, the restaurants, parking areas and many more. It is a very quiet area! The apartment is very clean. One of our daughters forgot her watch in the apartment and the owner prepared everything and organized a parcel delivery to send us the watch.

Negative: It's nothing to complain, just to mention that the streets from Como to Tavernerio are a little bit curvy and there is no coffee shop, restaurant or bakery in walking distance.

Summary: Perfect location, close to Como and absolutely quiet with very, very nice owners.

Positive: What's not to like? Tino and Lydia were absolutely wonderful hosts, available to assist if needed too! Fabulous greetings, treats and amazing tips and resources to make anyone's stay even better! The location was so convenient to Como and the condo had everything you need and more. Nice and comfortable, just a couple of miles from Como, we even parked every night right next to home. So convenient, safe and secure too, didn't experience this anywhere else in our 9 stops throughout Italy! The only trouble we had was wifi 1 night in intermittent spots downtown. That's no fault of our hosts, just use Tino's map or you can download on your phone before leaving to find your way back in case there is a connectivity problem for you too if driving. Busing is available if you prefer!

Positive: The owners are so friendly and have everything you need to make for a convenient stay near Lake Como! It's a little drive uphill, but the area is really quiet; super nice, especially after navigating through the crowd at the sightseeing spots.

Positive: The apartment is beautiful, clean, well decorated and it’s equipped with everything you could need. The Location is great and you can reach the downtown in 7-10 minutes with the car. Also you have the option of taking the bus (: if you don’t want use the car. Also the place is really quiet and relaxing. About Tino and Lidia as hosts, there are lovely and really kind, really friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything and give all kind of recommendation, from restaurants, parking places, activities that you can do depending the time you have.10 of 10!!! (:

Positive: Tino and Lidia are perfect hosts. They expressed extreme hospitality and explained a lot. The kitchen is well equipped. There is central heating in the house which is extremely important when it's cold outside. Also central hot water. Comfortable bathroom. As mentioned in the title - this is a perfect base to explore Lago di Como!

Negative: The mattress is a little too soft to our taste. Laundry costs extra money.
