Summary: The room was nice and receptionist at check-in was friendly enough. On Sunday though, the young woman at the desk, was pretty unhelpful. The pool was closed due to a chemical problem. She said she would check levels "in a few minutes" to see if they could open. I asked her to please let me know (my room was in the hallway between the pool and her desk). She didn't. After 30 minutes I went to ask her again and she said we could use the pool, but not the hottub. I asked her if it was ok if we checked out a bit late since we had waited to swim. She looked at me blankly and just said "check-out is at 11".

Summary: We always stay here on our ski trips to Stowe. We like that it is a small, quiet, clean and comfortable property, but still big enough to have a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Our rooms are well equipped and have had everything we need for a stress-free stay. The free shuttle to Stowe Ski Area is very convenient. We feel like an part of the family when we stay here.

Summary: Great location. Clean room and friendly staff. Very quiet as well, although I think most rooms were occupied, did not hear any noise.

Summary: I’m not one to usually post poor reviews. My challenge with this hotel centered around the poor state of the shower stall. It had active mold on the tub surround. I tried to find an amicable solution early into my stay but was delayed due to the hotels billing process. Although the staff finally came to deep clean the mold and a small refund provided, it still does not resolve the fact that cleaning staff failed to clean the shower of mold in the first place. It’s not something I would expect at a rate of $200+ a night.
