Positive: great breakfast and very convenient.

Negative: got in late to the hotel so couldn't use the spa Then after breakfast I would have raced to use the spa before 11.00am when my stay ended...after that it would have cost me £40 for a swim!

Positive: Loved the hotel overall, the setting and the pool and the gym. Staff were great and really friendly.

Negative: The food in the lounge bar was very poor quality and expensive. A tired and uninspiring salad. Chicken wings in commercial level breadcrumbs All food coming together, starters and mains The oil and vinegar for the bread was just a huge bowl of oil ... Twin bed room 4 was very light, the shutters don't keep the light out Twin beds really uncomfortable with crumbs on the carpet between the beds This room is right by the ramp where the housekeeping staff roll past at 9 am being really noisy

Positive: Location and staff were great - especially the cleaners down in the spa as we went down very late. They were so accommodating as we weren't told the robes/towels had to be collected before 7.30pm so they went to the locked cupboard and got some for us. Pool is a great size, good gym considering it is a hotel gym.

Negative: Whilst the room was very clean, the bed did look like it had been thrown together as opposed to made (I'm not a fussy person but pillows were haphazard and lampshades were really wonky!). We chose to eat elsewhere due to the cost of the restaurant - seemed very excessive for a Monday night stay.
