Positive: * Reception staff, exceptionally friendly, warm and helpful * Breakfast was fresh and delicious - breakfast time was quiet during our stay * Bedroom was spacious with lots of towels, and clean bedding. view was rubbish but there was windows so we didn't mind, there's always a room.with a rubbish view so we weren't too bothered to be fair. * Bar is seriously spacious but with no atmosphere unfortunately, no music or entertainment on a Saturday night. * Card only premises * Beer was nice and cold * Grounds are beautiful, lovely avenue, good parking

Negative: *Bar staff were 50/50 1 lady was very helpful but another lad was too busy doing what seemed like not alot to serve us. But...... it is seriously hard to find good bar staff that can serve with a bit of pep in their step, or serve 2 people at once. We are old school service staff so our standards can be high *Breakfast room needed hoovering, and it was quiet enough to do this!, * Dead flies on the Breakfast room window??? * cobwebs and those spindly spiders behind the locker between the beds in the bedroom * sounds strange, but the bed seemed to have a knocking sound when I moved in it. At one stage during the night, I thought there was someone at the door till I realised it was the bottom of my bed. Weird! But comfy all the same Hate to sound like a moaning Maira, but it's good to know what to expect. Our stay was pleasant all the same, I just noted these things

Positive: Beautiful, spacious place with a very friendly staff. They had changed some things for some other customers but the compromise was great. They gave us a huge room for the same price as the one we had booked. We felt very welcome and taken care of. Great breakfast! Highly recommended!
