From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the Marco and Tanja have put a tremendous amount of thought into making this feel like a true home away from home.The property is impeccably equipped with everything you could possibly need—from a well-stocked kitchen (really enjoyed the coffee machine) to thoughtful amenities that made our daily routine seamless. It’s rare to find a vacation rental that feels this lived-in and comfortable. Marco and Tanja are truly the standout feature; they are incredibly amazing, kind, and went out of their way to be helpful. Whether it was providing local tips or ensuring we had everything we needed, their hospitality was top-notch. Additionally, the location is perfect. It serves as an ideal base for exploring Lake Maggiore, the Milan area, and the surroundings, as it is close to all the main attractions, charming lakeside towns, and essential local services. We left feeling refreshed thanks to the peace and quiet this place offers and already wishing we could stay longer!

Positive: Great location in the countryside. 30 minute walk through the village to the lake. Plenty of space in the house for a large group with almost all rooms having access to their own bathroom. Manager was very friendly.

Negative: Could be cleaner, especially the kitchen. I never give 10/10, even when asked to, UNLESS a property truly deserves it.

Positive: This house is unique. It is antique but very well-preserved, with spectacular wood and marble floors and large spaces to enjoy with the family. Patrizia was very attentive and immediately resolved any problems or questions, explaining everything about the house perfectly. It is important to request that the heating be turned on two days before arrival during the winter. Thanks Patrizia and Marco, for your exceptional trust and help during our rush check-out!

Negative: There is nothing wrong with the property, we loved it, and would stay there again, but the listing includes some misinformation. The villa is not beachfront, it’s a few miles from the beach, there are no sidewalks or walking paths to the beach and there is not a view of the sea.

Positive: We were met by property manager Patrizia, who gave us a guided tour of the property. We were only 2 couples, so the house was very large. Lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. Our own private pool with 2 levels of terraced seating areas. This would be ideal for a large family or larger group of friends. We cooked in on all but 1 evening. Great grocery shopping in supermarket, Tigris, in a nearby town called Ispra. Close to Laveno ferry service for Lago Maggiore. Owners Marco and Tanja were so accommodating and helpful with directions and suggestions for day trips.
