Positive: - food was excellent - the personnel was very friendly and helpful - the waterpark is great for the kids - beautiful white decor inside the hotel - a lot of swimming pools and available sun beds - the view from the dining and bar area was breathtaking (you can see Zakynthos, Kefalonia and Ithaki - room was spacious - bar area offered a large variety of drinks/coctails

Negative: - the bathroom needs some maintenance (the grout and the mixers)

Positive: We loved the resort and the grounds which are steps away from the spectacular warm ocean. The food was exceptional, the breakfast plentiful, varied and truly something for everybody’s needs. I can’t say enough to describe adequately the service which was amazing. The hosts and hostesses were outstanding and so very friendly. The grounds, ocean and and variety of services was superb! If I could give the Grecotel la Riviera six stars I would!

Negative: We loved absolutely everything!

Positive: The breakfast and dinner were good but not varied enough and not suitable for a 5-star hotel The beds are comfortable The water park is excellent! There is free access, lots of facilities for all ages and special water slides Beautiful view

Negative: From the beginning the communication with them was not good, they hardly answer the messages, they don't respond and you have to send several messages in a row to get a response. The general feeling is that they are trying to take more and more money from you for minor things, so it is better to ask questions in advance and get clear answers because at the reception when you arrive they can tell you different things than what they wrote. The meals were not as varied as it should be in a 5 star hotel (I would rate the hotel 4 stars). At dinner there were no drinks at all! During the rest of the meals there was water, orange juice and other juices but in the evening they took everything and forced us to pay for water which should be an integral part of the meal we paid for! There wasn't even tap water - every drink requires payment and it ruined the experience especially when there are small children!. We were told at reception that there were no complaints about mosquitoes but there were a lot of them. Noises in the room during the whole day and especially at night, noises that disturb sleep. In the toddlers' swimming pool there is a large gap between the floor and the beginning of the pool - a baby can accidentally fall there if his foot gets stuck in the gap

Summary: The water park is excellent and that's it. Everything else needs urgent improvement!

Positive: Wet sand at the beach. Pesonnel always friendly and ready to help, only they help this ship floating. Aquapark, artificial river. Region where hotel is placed.

Negative: Everything old, hotel requires capital reconstruction. All of us are travelling to the seaside in summer, the most important is sea, access to it and infrastructure. Main road to the sea from the hotel is about 2.5 m width, once you walk to the sea you suddenly find 2 tables with chairs blocking the walkway, in the remaining 80cm of width in the middle is installed a column which holds shadow element of these tables, therefore you should somehow avoid the obstacles, moving in a line one after another if you are a group of people, this creates discomfort. Beginning of June (beginning of season) some of natural material shading elements at the beach where already damaged, during two weeks presence nobody fixed them. Aquapark with cracks in vane as underwater as well on the perimeter, since the grass is growing from this craks it happenned some time ago. Pieces of blue paint can be found floating in kids the area. Some years after use, ussually the paint gets off what basically happened. Havent seen anybody taking measurement of water quality in any of the pools, when in other hotels hourly personnel checks water quality adding chemicals to keep water bacteria in sanitary levels. We were trying to stay full time at the beach, coming in morning and leaving in the evening. During lunch we left our cloths at the beach and went to lunch in the restaurant close to river, in 2h we were back and 2 out of 4 our places were taken by a Greek family since they came in a group of more than 10 people which wanted to stay together, our cloths were left a side. Staff - 2 persons saw the situation which was caused and could at least invite the administrator to solve the conflict or make an observation that they don't have right to touch other people personal things but nobody intervine. Main canteen (restaurant) selection of food is poor with below mid quality during lunch and dinner. Breakfast was more or less ok on the quality. Main canteen-restaurant about 3 times overpriced.
