Positive: Historic, Atmospheric, Immersive in bygone times - but with Brussels right upon your doorstep! This is a true GEM at a price which is simply UNBEATABLE. If you want to imbibe history, enjoy opulence and dine divinely, this is a truly paradisical and unrivalled place.
Negative: Seriously, Nothing. Yes, I could say I want a gym and swimming pool, however, when you look at the pricing, where else do you get to reside in splendid castle settings for such a reasonable price?
Summary: A heavenly paradise - letting you imbibe history, enjoy majesty and dine divinely!

Positive: Location, old grandeur, gardens, staff. Fine for overnight stay.
Negative: Room a little small.Not much room around the bed. No mirror in bedroom.

Positive: The castle itself was very charming and there was a nice pond at the back of it. The restaurant underneath the castle served excellent food.
Negative: Prices were not on show at the reception. There was no general information on local tourist sites like you normally find in hotel lobbies. Breakfast at 23€ per person seemed rather expensive, especially for light eaters. We had the impression there was not enough staff to run the place. The room was sober with little decoration, except for a scary painting on the main wall which we managed to ignore.

Negative: “There was an African wedding party going on, and the children were running and racing through the hallways and even opened the door to our bedroom at 11 p.m.… and we were sleeping on the second floor. During breakfast, there was no staff to be seen, and we had (no other choice) to sit at a table that had been left dirty and uncleared… not nice!”

Positive: Fantastic restaurant , food and service excellent. The new room was nice, helpful staff.
Negative: First room given was not acceptable , 2nd room ok. New one was a redone . All very noisy . Curtains 1/2 of the rail. Light not working . Could not get the TV remote working properly.
Summary: Would stay again when all rooms are redone. Maybe not on a weekend but weekday .
