Featuring a luxuriously appointed country home, Grasslands Estate is situated on 4 tranquil acres only 5kms from Torquay town, within 10 minutes of most beaches on the spectacular Surf Coast. Have a pat with the resident pony or have a cuddle with the Pygmy goats Bobbie or Beatrix accompanied by kate. Relax and unwind while you sit back and soak up the stunning country surroundings from the veranda or chill poolside with a cocktail in hand.
The space
The pavilion-style residence has an incredibly warm & relaxing feel. Featuring beautiful living spaces both indoors and out, one of my favourite places is the swing chair where one can savour a glass of wine and breathe in the night air. Taking in a long bath & soaking up the views of the property through the floor-to-ceiling windows, is also a must.
Beautifully sited amongst expansive lawns and native trees, and overlooking a seasonal waterway, Grasslands Estate features a huge deck that flows out to a large, sparkling pool. The property is zoned for relaxed living – there are 4 large bedrooms including a master with an ensuite and multiple living areas including a lounge room, expansive family room and dining area overlooking the tranquil, rural, vista. The gourmet stone kitchen features a walk-in pantry, and the house also features a 2nd bathroom, reverse heating/cooling and a fully equipped laundry room.
Featuring a gas BBQ, outdoor dining area and a relaxing outdoor lounge area, the expansive deck also features a fire pit for toasting marshmallows under the stars. There are 4 bedrooms. Made up as follows: 7 beds. 1 king with ensuite. 2 rooms with twin share and shared main bathroom and 1 more room with twin share and ensuite.
