Positive: The cottage was in a quiet location, and it was very good to be able to walk to the beach and to join the coastal path in about 25 minutes. The cottage was cosy and warm, and very well equipped. I was even able to do some baking :-) The double bed was very comfortable, and the lounge was a nice place to sit in the evening. We enjoyed doing jigsaws and playing Scrabble! The congregation at the little church opposite was very warm and welcoming. It so happened that we were there on just the right Sunday for a service :-)

Negative: The shower only seemed hot for one person to have a shower, and was too cold for the second. The feather duvet was too hot for the time of year and there was no alternative bedding. Thankfully, we were able to supply and use our own instead. The hot tap in the kitchen sink vibrated very noisily. The hot water in the taps got very hot very quickly - too hot!

Summary: A cosy, quiet cottage, not far from the coastal path.

Positive: Nice spacious rooms. Excellent kitchen..well equipped, dishwasher always welcome. Fresh mint growing outside the kitchen door. Everything worked well. Really good wi-fi fast and solid making for excellent TV. Beds comfortable. Well placed to explore lots of the coastal path and beaches on the fabulous north Pembs coastline.

Negative: just a shame the main living room chairs and small sofa are pretty worn out and not that comfortable, because otherwise there is a lot of good (and interesting) furniture. There is no curtain over the front door windows which means there is a privacy issue at night.

Positive: The location was perfect - great walk down to beautiful beaches and sea views. Nice kitchen with everything we needed. Cosy living room.

Negative: As in other reviews the garden wasn't directly out of the kitchen door so it meant we had to put our dog on a lead to walk round to the garden but it was OK. Just not as convenient as opening the door.

Positive: It was warm and comfortable with thick stone walls, so warm when cold outside and cool when warm outside. The living space was spacious for 2 to 4 people. We liked being able to walk to the coast from the cottage.

Negative: We found the bed a bit bouncy for our liking but not so much we couldn't sleep. Apart from that it was all good.

Positive: A delightful quirky cottage. It took me back to my 1970's childhood...or mid century modern as a younger person might say. !!.. Kitchen well equipped. Modern TV..with instructions...a first. And lots of useful information about the area. It felt like a family home. The owners left us milk and Welsh cakes.

Negative: We are used to a king sized bed, so found the standard double difficult to sleep in. There was no hairdryer. It would have been helpful to have salt and pepper provided.

Summary: Delightful retreat.

Positive: Location above all. Very cosy and well equipped. Really enjoyed my stay despite the bad weather. Modern hot water and central heating system was great.

Negative: All down to preference but Sofa suite wasn’t very comfortable for me. Could do with curtains for the two doors of the property.
