Positive: The location is worth the long drive, the lodge was very comfortable and welcoming, exactly what we where looking for. Would recommend highly 👌

Negative: The only down side is the getting there its a long drive, but it's worth it for the isolation.

Positive: - It's a remote area, no neighbours nearby with lots of nature to enjoy e.g. you can see moose, deer, rabbits, different birds, whales etc. a bliss if you want to enjoy quiet time. And I recommend to bring binoculars with you. - The house is very spacious and comfortable. The decor and amenities are great. We really loved our stay here. - Has everything you need in the kitchen. - a short 15min drive away you can rent a boat or fish on shore and see big waterfalls. There are marked and unmarked trails nearby for outdoor people. - Most of all house has a wonderful jacuzzi that is great on rainy days. - Got really good instructions when arriving, rarely see this level of details. Thank you! - If I travel in this area in future I will try to stay here again. I truly recommend this place if you want to stay outside of tourist areas.

Negative: - when arriving I recommend checking where the fuse box is (it's in the garage and you need flash light) as it is easy to get electricity cut off and need to reset the fuse. - otherwise everything was great 👍

Positive: Wow what an amazing place! Our stay at Villa Grannen was honestly perfect. The villa is right by the Norwegian Sea, and the views are just unreal. Every evening we sat on the porch and watched the most beautiful sunsets with hues of orange, pink, and gold skies over the water. So peaceful and calming. What really blew us away was the wildlife. From the porch we saw otters playing and even a couple of porpoises swimming by. Out back we spotted moose (even a moose calf), deer, and tons of birds. It felt like we were in the middle of a nature documentary😊 The villa itself is super cozy and has everything you need. It’s comfy, and has a really nice, homey feel. It’s also packed with fun stuff — there are kayaks you can take out on the water, a table tennis setup, and even a gym if you feel like working out though honestly, the views are enough to take your breath away. Whether you’re looking to relax, reconnect, or have some fun with family or friends, this place is perfect. It would be awesome for a family reunion or just a quiet getaway. And we’ve got to mention Klaasjan the host. He was so friendly and helpful, always ready with great tips for local hikes, places to explore, and where to spot wildlife. He really made us feel welcome and at home. Q
