Positive: Breakfast was pretty good. Lovely big rooms with comfy beds and big bathroom. A pretty nice view as well with a spacious enough balcony that came in handy for us to hang some clothes. It's close to the more recent night market (Longdeng) but still a short taxi ride to the station or back to the 1st market in Yuanlin. Location is good. There's a small park around the corner as well.

Negative: Not sure why but there's an unpleasant smell at the entrance of the hotel and also the top floor. Facilities could use some maintenance. Looking pretty old and tattered. There's no smell in the actual room or the floor where the rooms were so that's a relief.

Positive: Everything was great!

Negative: Location - not bad, but not close to local food carts (although short walk to 2x night markets). There are no footpaths or sidewalks so walking around or to the station is a bit daunting the first few times with all the traffic around and it would be challenging for strollers and wheelchairs but that’s mostly how it is when walking in Taiwan’s busier areas.
