Positive: We love the breakfast every morning. The maitre’d was so nice and friendly. All the staff in the coast restaurant were lovely and helpful. The location of this hotel is perfect .. close by village, bars, restaurants, shopping and the beach. The train to town is a five minute walk away.

Negative: Wish we weren’t looking out at a wall. But the room was very nicely updated and comfortable

Positive: Great location, close to town centre. Friendly staff and helpful. Rooms excellent . We had dinner in the restaurant, excellent service with views over sea . Loads of car parking spaces. We would definitely stay again

Negative: Pool had no changing rooms due to renovations .

Positive: Nice location - near town centre - good walks all around

Negative: The extractor fans in the room bathroom does not turn off after a few minutes after switching off the bathroom lights - the constant whirr is annoying and keeps guests awake - can this be changed? - else - I would doubt that we return

Negative: Dreadful reception service. On arrival the receptionists were very abrupt to each other, but pleasant to me. On check out, the receptionists simply ignored the queue of guests - two on the phone, the manager (I think) just walked off after also being on the phone and clearly saw the queue too. One person kept looking out the back office door but didn’t come out to help - there was a queue of 4 people all just waiting and being ignored!! Madness. Also the breakfast, specifically the hot cooked breakfast element was very poor. Low quality produce, badly cooked. Sorry but I wouldn’t book the breakfast next time. The pool times and location should be better shared - even the guys in the pool knew that they were the forgotten part of the hotel - it’s a great facility, you should share detail better.

Summary: Nice hotel, great location but not sure that the customer is front of mind though.
