Positive: Stunning historic building with beautiful bedrooms overlooking the bay. Right on the seafront with access to the long beach and beautiful crystal clear sea. Exotic garden/dining area and a pretty swimming pool. We had lunch and dinner a couple of times and they were both very good. The service was good and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Negative: The breakfast was far too over-priced for what it was and really badly set out. We had breakfast on our first morning and it was just total chaos with the staff looking very harassed. Opposite the hotel there is probably one of the best bakeries/confectioners in France and so deciding to get breakfast from there at one tenth of the price was no contest. The hotel plays piped music in the atrium and dining area all day and evening but it never ever changes. Maybe it’s a Hilton thing. Thats ok if you are in an airport hotel for one night, but a week of it was really irritating and imagine the poor staff listening to it day in day out! Access to the beach is through the dining room and so quite embarrassing. Opening up a gate from the pool area would be a really good idea.

Positive: The outdoor and indoor pool were nice. Onsite restaurants. The location was close to but directly in all the crowds so wasn’t too loud. Nice views and right on the beach.

Negative: The sauna wasn’t operating.

Positive: The property is very comfortable and pleasant and the staff is really superbly helpful.

Negative: It’s over looking the Mediterranean Sea which is beautiful and everything is comfortable and easy to manage.

Negative: A very odd TV on a metal post in the middle of the suite completely messed up the look and feel of the room. We don't have to have a TV at all costs!

Positive: Favelle at the Front desk was amazing every day, she would look after us daily with her great english and represent the Hotel with great brand representation and professionally.

Negative: Team at The restaurant could be developed better with emotional connection towards guests. Wifi is not Good enough to work or have Google meetings on the premises.

Negative: A pity to discover that hospitality had changed to one year ago. Examples are that water in minibar was not autmatically replaced hence was announced to be offered daily and replacement of nuxe products was also not a given. In one of the two rooms none of the products was replaced in 5 days. Nuxe body wash was empty on the 4th day and not replaced. Even make up tampons were not replaced in 5 days … 4 in a box and you use min 2 / day…a replacement of small piece of soap was received after asking the cleaning lady. When asking for information to plan boat trip to the calanaques, we were referred to the brochures at reception. It was finally the night manager who took the time to give more information and give some guidance. That was appreciated. We booked room type big shower / bath and had not specified since we assumed same room type as last year. When we found out it was different ans asked for a change of room on same floor/sea view hence without bath, bigger shower there was no possibility, even not during the 5 days… when paying around 450 eur per room, 2 rooms one would assume there can be some flexibility. Last but not least to mention, compared to last year more families with children. Not sure if this location with limited swimming pool area can meet the expectation of adults vs playing children in the pool.

Negative: The connection between the beach and hotel was a little bit interesting because you have to walk through the restaurant to reach the beach.
