Positive: Our stay at Granary 1 was brilliant, we were met on arrival by John our very friendly host as well as the resident farm cat who was on hand to greet everyone too! The accommodation was really modern, well equipped, clean and had everything we needed and we were even provided with milk and essentials which was a really nice surprise. The setting is really peaceful in the countryside and we were able to make use of the outdoor seating in the sunshine. The accommodation is close to Madley, a lovely village and we had a great evening at the Red Lion pub. All in all a great stay and we'll definitely be returning when visiting the area.

Positive: Lovely property, very quiet, incredibly clean and well equipped. Hosts were lovely and let us explore the farm. Great garden for dogs, even though we didn’t bring ours as we were attending a wedding. High standard of fittings and such a comfortable bed!

Negative: The water pressure was a bit hit and miss but that’s being picky!

Positive: Very clean and comfortable and with a lovely outside space. Plenty of room for a couple. Very quiet location, with just a short walk to the local pub and shop.

Negative: TV reception wasn’t always great, but we were out most of the time so this wasn’t too much of an issue.

Positive: We self catered, really enjoying our stay at the Ropery in the heart of peaceful countryside. All well organised with exceptional cooking equipment, bed and sofa.It was a nice surprise to have roses and a picnic basket of treats to greet us. Our dog was happy exploring and rolling in the grass whilst our hosts were welcoming, respecting our privacy but enjoying a friendly chat. We hope to visit again.
