Positive: The hotel is fun. The rooms were above average. Beds were wonderful. Restaurants were nice. The gym was lovely.

Negative: The shower was not hot. A little disappointing.

Negative: For 10 years, we have stayed at this hotel 4+ times per year. Always used their free airport shuttle. Arrived last evening after traveling for 12 hours to find they no longer have airport shuttle service. No warning, very disappointed. We enjoyed our stays, but the lack of shuttle service will influence where we stay in the future.

Positive: Nice old hotel in David. The pool is great; that is pretty much why we stay at this hotel whenever we are in David. It is good sized, clean and never very busy. The gardens around the pool are lovely, too. Breakfast is included and with several options. Will always recommend Gran Hotel Nacional to friends visiting David.

Negative: Breakfast should have some plant based milk for non dairy people. The price is high; not sure why it costs close to $100.00 per night in David.

Summary: Nice hotel, great pool. Perfect for a stay in David!

Positive: Nice and centrally located hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Nice shower with excellent water pressure. Food was great, basic but very nice breakfast. Loved the historical touches throughout the hotel.

Negative: Would have been nice to have coffee making facilities
