4 Bedroom House in Friday Harbor

very PRIVATE 20-acre gated estate in the woods on Mt. Dallas. Hot Tub for 7, private filtered Lake for swimming, all King beds, memory foam mattresses, and SHEEX (the most supple sheets ever!) 65" FLAT SCREEN and 7 more in BR's. 3 baths, Large LR, dining table for 10+, piano, game room, pool table, ping pong, 2 wood stoves, washer/dryer, breakfast table, gourmet kitchen & kitchenette. Huge 2-story home, 30 ft soaring beamed ceilings. Elevated deck, gas BBQ and dining looks out at Mountains and water!
The kitchen is large with a microwave and a professional Viking oven/range cooktop. There is in-kitchen dining and a large formal 10-person handcrafted table for larger sittings. A 400 sq ft elevated deck has a BBQ with outdoor teak furniture and seating for 8+. The deck looks outward toward the Strait of Juan de Fuca with views of Vancouver Island Canada and the Olympic Mountains with ships passing by.
All Beds are KING size and an upper and lower bunk bed, and the Living Room has a pull-out sleeper sofa.
There are two bathrooms upstairs with new (2019) neo-classical all-glass showers and there is one bathroom downstairs with a shower having steam, foot massage, light show, and blue tooth connectivity.
The upstairs also has a large living room with cable TV and 65" flat screen and a piano. The views from the living room overlook the small lake and can have quite stunning sunsets and star-filled skies. There is a wood-burning stove and plenty of bookcases with reading lots of reading material. And board games too! WiFi (50Mbps - can watch HD streaming) and an iMac to use.
Downstairs is a large game room with a pool table & ping pong table, a flat screen, wood-burning stove, leather seating, and a kitchenette with an eating bar.
All rooms have individual climate control with ductless mini-split systems (7) throughout. Air conditioning, heating, and air purification are all possible.
The property has both manicured and woodsy natural areas. There are giant old and new growth trees all around. This is super private and super beautiful.
This is a 20-acre property that is strictly NON-SMOKING everywhere. Please don't book here if anyone is a smoker.
The owner lives next door and loves guests and kids. One small dog will be considered. Prior approval is required. Need to know the breed, size, gender, temperament, and most of all, is it housebroken? Max 50 LB
2021 Hot Tub for 8. All bedrooms are now KING SIZE beds with super comfy memory foam mattresses and all have SHEEX brand sheets (the most supple bedding ever!).

Summary: Our daughter and 6 grandsons stayed at Grandma Rikki's in Friday Harbor & it was a blast!! So much to do on the property for all 6 kids ages 3-13!! Beds were super comfy, kitchen was well stocked, the view was amazing and Grandma Rilki was very welcoming. We will be back one day!!!

Summary: We celebrated a 4-day over Christmas holiday here. Three adult couples and four grandchildren between the ages of four and two. Everything worked out very very nicely and we enjoyed our stay immensely. I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Gramma Rikki's marvelous home was the perfect spot for our family get-together. The listing shows the extensive amenities and we loved every part - the lake and water toys, playground, hot tub, games, etc. It's a special place for playing together, hanging out on the gorgeous grounds, enjoying lively family meals, and for quiet moments in the stunning house. Gramma Rikki lives in a separate house on the property, and she personally welcomed us and truly made us feel at home. We especially appreciated her help getting our car charged. So much was delightfully unique about our stay, and we hope to return soon.

Summary: We were a family of ten including 7 adults and 3 children. We found Grandma Rikki's home to be spacious and welcoming. There was room for everyone and we all enjoyed the outside activites. The home is about 20 minutes from Friday Harbor and a perfect blend of nature and the ability to reach town quickly. You will be about a mile from Kiln Lime Park, where we watched the orcas. We found our host to be gracious and helpful. Thank you Grandma Rikki for the best family vacation!

Summary: This property has something for everyone! Comfy rooms and beds, oodles of amenities both indoors and out, and in a secure and stunning setting. We actually found it difficult to leave this oasis to explore the island. 😀. Gramma Rikki was over the top welcoming and loved sharing her dogs with our grandkids.

Summary: We stayed here for a week with our kids and young grandkids. The house was perfect for accommodating everyone yet allowing everyone some personal space. Great spaces for interacting over family dinners, out on the deck or out on the grounds. The lake and kayak were a hit with our 3-year old granddaughter. Our dog loved roaming the grounds, but was contained by the deer fencing. The house was very nicely appointed and well provisioned. A short drive to beaches at Lime Kiln and Co Park. Gramma Rikki was helpful on check-in and available with suggestions for activities. Definitely a place we would consider returning to in the future.

Summary: our family of 10 (grandparents, parents and kids aged 8-14) had a great stay at Gramma Rikki's. The pond was so fun for kids to kayak, swim and paddle in. The beds were incredibly comfortable so all slept well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Everyone loved it!

Summary: Our host, Gramma Rikki, is a gracious, friendly and a multi-talented person. She was very communicative from the time we reserved and all during our stay. Her property is beautiful and well maintained. Two of our family members spent a lot of days biking and hiking. The only difficulties we encountered were getting ferry reservations for the times that worked best for our travel schedule. Recommendation: call or get online as soon as you book your stay at Gr. Rikki's.
