Positive: In one word … EVERYTHING!!! I cannot fault one single thing! The mill is a stunningly beautiful and unique place to stay with absolutely everything you could need provided for you. From plenty of towels to a picnic blanket, from an air cooler to loads of crockery and cutlery… brilliant! Jane and Allan gave us such a warm welcome and had left us a scrummy hamper including Janes mums awesome lemon drizzle cake … yum! The grounds are amazing! It takes about 20 minutes to walk around the stunning waterways, wooded areas and lawns. The grounds are full of wildlife, kingfishers, ducks, an otter, deer, a heron and hedgehogs. If you are looking for a peaceful, restful and unique property then Grafton Mill is it!

Negative: There is nothing that I can put in this box! Not a thing!

Positive: Superb position. The hosts wonderful and accommodating. Access to the whole plot of land…. and it’s big! Well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a break

Positive: beautiful property which has been lovingly restored by the current owner to an exceptional standard. The property is set in lovely grounds which are nice to walk in and spot the wildlife that inhabit the area.

Negative: The property and setting were exceptional the only down side which the owners cannot change is the noise from the road and the speed at which cars travel past the property. The owners have added secondary glazing but you can hear traffic passing at speed from early in the morning as people travel to work. For many this may not be an issue although we live in a quiet area where we are not used to noise of the traffic.

Summary: fantastic stay in a beautifully restored water mill.

Positive: I've never stayed anywhere like this in my life. The house is just magical and so clean. The welcome basket is incredible and the grounds of the house are just wonderful. You can watch the geese, ducks and otters swimming from the living room window!! The owners are so accommodating and honestly felt like family. Can not fault this place. We'll definitely be back.
