Negative: My shower didn't work. I did report it, but it didn't get fixed. It was a bit noisy outside.

Positive: Mbeya has an area with lots of vendors selling most items.

Negative: An area of significant tourist attractions, it does not have. There is a lake, if looking at water, gets your adrenaline going, otherwise there is nothing remarkable about it, except, maybe dust. This hotel feels like a Chinese owned one, with a proliferation of cameras everywhere! What's most disappointing is it's food: limited menu, and mostly they don't have the food anyway. I asked for pumpkin soup and both times they didn't have it. And they keep you waiting for a very long time and when it comes, it is cold. The chef sent the mushroom soup basically as pickled water, as it had so much salt in it - twice! Although I pointed this out, the waiting staff still included it on the bill even though I didn't eat it. This restaurant treats all its diners with a weird local type attitude and all need rapid training. Because even when they are not busy, they purposefully make you wait - a long time. Service: 3/10.
