Stunning Ocean Views from this huge, Upscale, gorgeous 4,219 sq ft 3 level beach house with 4 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, elegantly turnkey furnished with upscale art and antiques, formal dining room, laundry room, patio and lovely gardens, two 75-inch super smart TVs, 2-car garage, Serene & spectacular location on Silicon Beach! . Convenient to Marina Del Rey dining and shops and LAX airport. Walk or take the bike path to the Marina Channel, or the pedestrian bridge to the Marina.
Prime, unique Playa Del Rey beach location, completely private, just above the waves, surrounded by other large and stately homes, great neighbors, only moments from Marina Del Rey and LAX.
Formal entry leads up to the huge ocean view great room, the size of a double living room, with decorative fireplace, wrap-around breathtaking view decks, comfortable sitting areas & built-in cabinetry, 75-inch smart TV, beautiful paintings and sculptures.
On the entry level there is a guest bathroom with tub/shower. As you arrive at the second level, you will be immediately amazed by the breathtaking views and the expansive open floor plan of the main living level with huge double- sitting room, very large chef’s kitchen with dramatic views, enormous island with seating, quartz counter tops, commercial size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, 6-burner Italian gas range, and dining area, plus formal dining room overlooking and opening to a brick paver patio and tiered garden with an outdoor shower.
The large great room has an abundance of sofas and comfy chairs. There is a 75-inch flat-screen TV mounted over the decorative fireplace with Direct TV, and a few games and many books, including a cookbook collection stored in the cabinets, in case you want to augment time gazing at the sea (unlikely). A full bathroom (and a lot more artwork) completes the second level.
The upper level boasts another sitting area and 4 bedrooms. The luxurious gigantic master suite has a king bed, a couch to gaze at the sea (or just gaze from the comfort of your bed), a walk-in closet, 75-inch smart TV over a decorative fireplace with Direct TV, multiple sliding glass doors and balcony, large bathroom with tiled, glass enclosed shower and beautiful porcelain soaking tub, all with awe-inspiring panoramic ocean views.
Another lovely King bedroom with equally awe-inspiring views, shares the wrap around balcony.
The two additional bedrooms, one with King bed and TV, and one with Queen, have their own charm and garden views, with large walk-in closets.
Plenty of parking in an expansive driveway with parking for 2 or 3 cars, and extensive on street parking.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The host expressed a true desire that our stay was a good one. The house was as advertised and the views of and access to the beach were great. We rented bikes from a kiosk within easy walking distance and rode easily from Manhattan Beach to Santa Monica. Only deterrent was at check-in we lost time needlessly learning how to arm the security system which we didn’t need to use. Also, while the listing was clear about no guests, we would have really enjoyed having a few family members from the area able to come over for a dinner or a game night. This was expressly forbidden, without a large up-charge being levied. In the end, though, we had a good time and enjoyed the house.

Summary: This house was great for a family vacation. It was a short walk from the front door to the beach, in a fun neighborhood. The art in this house is amazing. Every room has something impressive to look at. There is an elevator in the house to move luggage upstairs that was very useful. The housekeeper was very sweet and arrived exactly as scheduled. The house is very close to LAX. I wasn’t bothered by the noise because I expected it, but I can see that if you didn’t know or if you were traveling with someone sensitive to sudden noises, it could be a problem. The garage is short enough that one of our cars (a large SUV) could not fit in it. There was plenty of street parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This house was by far the best value in the area. While it may not be as modern and luxurious as other properties, those options can cost more than 3x the price! The house is spacious, has beautiful views, ample outdoor space, and is perfect for hanging out in a group or private time. We truly appreciated our host!

Summary: Every aspect of this rental was easy. From communication about the rental, accessing the property, the location close to the beach, LAX, great restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping; it was all easy. Loved the ocean/sunset views and the sprawling layout of the house. Mari, the housekeeper, was gracious and welcoming. A few things to keep in mind: the driveway is steep so use the garage for unloading luggage and those with balance issues,; you can definitely hear planes from LAX from the primary bedroom until 11:00 pm and starting back up by 7:00 am (earplugs were provided but we did without). I did enjoy having the doors open to hear the waves, and the beach is a 5 minute walk. Do not expect this to be a pristine home with all new, 100% perfect furnishings. I might not have noticed the wear and tear quite so much had I not been filling out a form for the owners on check-in about the condition of furniture, etc. sheets, towels and bedding were comfortable, clean, and new. Some closets, dressers, and cupboards are bungee’d off to keep folks out of the owner’s items. No worries about these items, but it is helpful to know to help manage peoples’ expectations. We had a great time and would rent this home again!

Summary: Beautiful eclectic home, love the area. Short walk to the beach. Loved hearing the waves of the ocean. Short drive from the airport. Close to grocery store and other essentials. Our stay was great. Tovah was super nice and laid out all the instructions needed to navigate the house. Mary the housekeeper was awesome and was very helpful before leaving. We would most definitely stay here again.

Summary: This lovely house is 1-1/2 blocks from the beach in Playa del Rey. It is a true find for those who want to spend time close to the ocean in Los Angeles, where there are not many options for that. Huge island in the kitchen for cooking and family or group gathering, and expansive living room--all with views of the ocean.

Summary: The house is big with eclectic furniture and linens. If the furniture was a little nicer I would call it upscale. It is one block from the beach and has a nice kitchen and large rooms. The huge problem is airplane noise. It was hard to enjoy this location with all the airplanes taking off from the runway.
