Positive: I didn't come here with a lot of expectations but I was swept off my feet! The whole place felt so homey and nostalgic, it was like visiting family on the countryside and not even staying at a hotel. The stuff was super sweet and friendly, it was obvious they love being here and taking care of their guests and the whole place. They have adorable, quite interactive small kids hanging around, the food was incredibly delicious and home made (not quite restaurant-like in the best way possible! It was similar to what you'd expect your grandma to cook for you when visit her) and they paid so much attention to our food allergies and what we can eat. At dinner there was live folk music by a couple of enthusiastic local kids . The whole experience here was just super lovely and I can not recommend it enough! If I ever needed to stay nearby, I would definitely choose this place again!

Positive: Large comfortable room with good shower and plenty of hot water. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming with a lovely smile, a short drink on arrival, help with our cases, and a lift to the start of our epic walk to chata pri zelome pleso. Also superb food- delicious breakfast with a huge choice and good coffee and delicious slovakian style dinner both nights. We felt extremely welcome and would recommend to sny keen hikers to stay here. We will be back.
