Positive: The staff was very helpful and attentive. The view from our room was gorgeous. The hotel is located in a small village with beautiful homes surrounding it. The food was very good and the decor was beautiful. We did not use the pool outside as the weather was a little cold but it looked like a nice place to visit in the warm summer months.
Negative: It would have been nice to have the mini fridge stocked as there was nothing in it. Most spa hotels provide complimentary water bottles - at least 2. Or at least it would have been nice to have water bottles in the mini fridge to buy. There was also no complimentary water provided in the spa area. The spa area was small - but we knew that. The lounge chairs next to the pools inside made the place seem very cramped.

Positive: The breakfast offers a nice variarty, including all basics and also traditional Bulgarian options like banitsa, mekitsi, etc. The view towards Plovdiv is very nice!
Negative: The cleaning personnel should pay more attention to dust and cobwebs, especially in the corners; seems a bit superficial work from their side. The swimming pools outside could be a bit warmer.
Summary: We had a very nice stay.

Positive: Location is excellent on the edge of Plovdiv, calm and serene with excellent views over the city. The building architecture and interior decor is stunning. Room was large and well decorated, with well appointed bathroom. Reception and restaurant staff were very polite, professional and friendly. Spa looks amazing and has a range of high end facilities. Prices have edged up, but still good value locally given its location and high quality feel. It still feels like a special experience.
Negative: Very noisy neighbours partied well into the early hours and there were no night staff on duty to rectify the situation. There should be staff on call or a contact number, in case help is needed. The spa pool was not as clean as previous visits, which was surprising. The steam room was too hot for everyone in there, but spa staff didn't seem to know how to turn the heat down.
Summary: Beautiful place, lovely staff, noisy neighbours.

Positive: Very beautiful exterior and interior design, everything seems to be selected with good taste, the rooms were clean and comfortable and you have all that you need inside. The restaurant at lunch time doesnt offer much choice, but the breakfast and dinner were very good and delicious.
Negative: The road in the village is good but the moment you make the turn towards the hotel it is just mud and water holes, not sure why they haven't invested in fixing that as it gives the hotel a very cheap look right at the beginning. Seems many other amenities were in construction as well but this is not mentioned anywhere and I'm sure prices have not been amended for that. Examples include the fitness - not working at all and half of the "jacuzzi pool" was covered and unusable. The "swimming pool" was extremely cold and couldn't be used. The spa was limited, there's only a steam room, a salt room and a herb room. Only the steam room was hot, the salt room was a bit weird and slightly warm while the herb room was outright cold. This is the first spa I've visited that doesn't offer free water, they make you buy expensive bottles of "White" water, which brings me to my other point - you can only buy this expensive water in the hotel and we couldn't find a nearby shop while we were thirsty later in the night. The only negative regarding the rooms is that we didnt have hot water after the spa. This is probably a common issue they have at the time the spa closes as everybody is taking showers. In the morning there was hot water. Overall I think the hotel haa great potential but at it's current rate, prices should be cut in half.
Summary: Sells itself as something it could be, but currently is not.
