Summary: Had a fabulous 6 days in Golden View. The location is perfect - 20 minute walk or 4.50e taxi from the main town. The hotel is right on the beach and minutes from a good selection of restaurants. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. However the facilities in the hotel more than compensated. Good swimming pool. Even better 'private' beach with more than enough loungers and shade for everyone. We didn't have breakfast, but ate lunch and had a nightcap every day. Excellent quality and choice. The prices are very competitive. Some people complain that service is slow. It is because everything is made fresh. Just factor that in. An amazing view from the bar. Great staff esp in the restaurant, on the beach and housekeeping. Highly recommend
