Positive: Love how spacious the rooms are and the breakfast was awesome. Freshly made yogurt and fruit juices. Western breakfast and authentic local food. Nice beach view

Negative: The beach / shoreline is rocky. Not suitable for kids. Location is very remote. The road to the hotel is not very well lit. It can be quite dangerous at night. Exploring to other parts of the island is far. Not easy to get grab. Had to rely on the hotel to get grab and it was pricier than market price. Although food quality was awesome, but the spread is the same everyday and there were annoying small flies. They didn't have a proper jetty, so getting on to a boat organised by them was dangerous as we had elders and young kids. We pulled out of the activity.

Summary: Not value for money.

Positive: Very lovely and tranquil place. Service and food is very good.

Negative: Only problem is that grab is difficult to get there. Also the cruise to starfish beach is expensive for a couple if there no bigger group going there.

Positive: We went as a family with a four year old. The place was perfectly set up to enjoy the pool and the beach with a delicious in house restaurant. The pool came with pool toys available for anyone to use and there was plenty of seating around the pool. The rooms are a very generous size with bottles of water dropped to your door daily. We stayed for four nights and later in our trip around Vietnam we returned another four nights as we had such a good time. The staff are excellent especially Quan who our daughter adored and would run to give a hug every time we saw her in the restaurant. There is a bar onsite but we couldn't hear any of the music in our poolside room (127) which is on the other side of the property. Instead of using the inhouse laundry I contacted a local launderette via google maps (Laundry P Ganh Dau) that did a 24hr pick up and drop off, it was VND50,000 per kilo. It is near enough to the Bee Farm (free entry, wonderful coffee and fruit juices with honey as well as great products) if you wish to visit something on the island and about an hour from the airport.

Negative: It would have been great if there was something over the shallow end of the pool to shade from the sun so that the kids could play without as much sun exposure.

Summary: Great resort, would return again.

Positive: Loved our time here. Pure bliss. Right on the beach, kayaks, snorkelling gear etc provided for free to take whenever. We were out for hours snorkelling among the fish and coral. Not a big reef, but great fun regardless. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were amazing. Would return in a flash. Such relaxing times.

Negative: Too many chemicals (chlorine?) In pool. Otherwise everything was perfect.
