Summary: Very nice hotel with a good location to m8 motorway and Glasgow airport. Gym ok but a bit on the small side, pool ok steam and sauna rooms ok. Only downside was i had adjoining room and next door was very noisy around 10:30 at night, ate in hotel one night food was nice and a fair selection at the bar, I knocked a star off only because of my neighbour

Summary: We always stay when we are visiting our daughter and son in law. We love Glynhil and the swimming pool is an added bonus. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. The food is amazing. The cleanliness is also so good we've never had any problems with it at all. Can't wait to stay again.

Summary: We love staying at the Glynhil hotel when we come and visit our daughter and son in law. It's always very clean and all the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is also amazing. The spa is an added bonus. Can't wait to stay again on our next visit.

Summary: Where to start? We stayed here for three nights, Saturday afternoon to Tuesday morning. On arrival we discovered there was no WiFi signal in our room. I reported this to reception (in total over our stay 4 times) and all we were told was that they've logged it for the 'maintenance man', when we left on Tuesday morning we still couldn't access the internet from our room. The TV in the room had a remote control which was so badly worn that none of the buttons were legible, plus they didn't work. I (after two visits to reception to rectify as the promised 'maintenance man' didn't show) I was given another remote that the receptionist found. This was also badly worn and only worked by using the pencil left in the room to press the keys, after a few tries the Tv would turn on (or off again!). On Monday afternoon we returned from a trip to Glasgow where we unfortunately got caught in heavy rain. getting back to our room I wanted to use the heated towel rail and radiators to warm up and dry off some of the clothing. After 20 minutes it was clear that none of the appliances were on. I rang reception where the girl who answered didn't know why, so I asked her to find out. She came back and told me that the heating was on a time switch, but she didn't know what time that came on. Not surprisingly it didn't come on at all. The bed and pillows were good, breakfast was quite good, road noise from the dual carriageway was evident as the wooden casements possibly not up to preventing noise.
