Positive: The hotel is lovely and ideally located just 15 minutes' drive from Elafonissi, one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. Our room was comfortable and came with a beautiful sea view. The area is very peaceful and a perfect spot for stargazing at night. Maria was a wonderful host and offered us plenty of helpful tips (especially regarding beach spots). We were also pleasantly surprised to get a room upgrade. Highly recommended!

Positive: Everything was just perfect, I cannot recommend enough staying at Glykeria if you are in the area. Starting with the staff, we were welcomed by Maria and Nikos which are two of the best hosts I have ever met. Truly kind, friendly and always ready to make you feel comfortable and provide everything you need, including advices on what to do nearby. The location is great near many different beautiful beaches although taking a car to get there and visit the area is highly advisable. The room itself was clean, spacious with all the commodities you might need (AC, Wi-fi, mini-fridge, etc). The bed is very comfortable and the surroundings are calm and quiet. Just next to the apartments the pool is a real plus that you can use anytime as well as parking spots for the car. Lastly, just across the street, Maria and Nikos also manage a restaurant where you can always eat. The food and drinks are just great, one of the highlights of our trip and you are always greeted with the smile and sympathy of the staff. If we ever return to this area we will definitely stay again at Glykeria, just book it, you will not regret it! Thank you Maria and Nikos for everything :)

Positive: Maria and Nico welcomed us when we got there and we felt like family. Great location, very close to numerous beaches. There is also a restaurant which serves unbelievable meals! Rooms are comfortable and have a great view!

Negative: Nothing. Should have stayed longer.

Positive: Best stay I had while in Chania and around, I felt very safe and welcome, the infrastructures were so clean and nice. Being a bit further of the well known beach turned out to be an advantage in the end! Maria will tell you plenty of tips and help you with any request if she’s able to. Also fun « Greek merch » if you just happen to stop by their restaurant (also very good!). I wish I knew about them sooner, I would have stayed longer, I was actually sad to leave and my next hotel did disappoint me after it!
