Positive: Tommaso was an amazing host—truly top-notch! The accommodation itself is wonderfully quiet and cosy, providing the perfect escape after a day of sightseeing. We stayed for three nights and loved every moment of it. We chose this location as a base for visiting Rome. The tip: we drove to Cesano station, parked the car there, and easily took the train into the city. It was a brilliant, stress-free way to visit Rome. I can fully and wholeheartedly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

Positive: Very peaceful location with a few lovely sweet dogs on the property. The staff was amazingly gracious & took great care of us. They also gave us a very nice breakfast.

Negative: A little confusing at the gate. There are two gates that are number 8. You will enter in at the left gate. The staff must let you in.

Summary: Lovely, peaceful spot to stay away from the busyness around Rome.

Positive: We felt incredibly welcomed by Daniela and her family. They kindly organised for Lorenzo to pick us up from the airport, which was very straightforward and convenient for us. Daniela went out of her way to take us ten minutes down the road to a wedding, when we weren't able to organise a taxi. She really went out of her way and we were very grateful. Having such a warm family really put us at ease, and we appreciated all of the effort. Lovely environment, loved the gorgeous dogs, very peaceful and a great breakfast.

Negative: Generally, everything was lovely, so these are only small notes that might make someone else stay that bit better. - No blackout blinds in the rooms, just cream drapes, which are beautiful to look at but let in a lot of the early morning light so we were woken up very early and hard to get back to sleep. - Bathroom perhaps needs a little bit of modernisation. There is only a bath with a handheld shower attachment, which makes showering quite difficult and impractical. There is no screen so water goes all over the floor and the floor is stone tiled so very slippery. - We were not given a key for the external door, and coming back from a wedding very late (2am) we got back to find another guest had closed and locked the door! A bit of a panic, and were stood in the pitch black unsure what to do as we couldn't get in. We only had the key for our bedroom within the house. In the end we had to keep ringing the doorbell which was less than ideal for the other guests to get back in. Eventually someone let us in but it was stressful; all dogs barking etc.

Summary: A lovely homestay, classic Italian countryside, and a very warm family.
