Positive: Great location (for us - we were within walking distance of our granddaughter who had just been born!). Lovely countryside around (the house is next to a river)

Negative: A full Scottish breakfast with black pudding, haggis 'n 'neeps would be nice - but wait, there's a coffee shop within easy walking distance... you'll appreciate the Constitutional!!

Summary: Should have brought our fishing rods! We had a lovely couple of days relaxing in the countryside!

Positive: A family home in an absolutely beautiful location. rentable annexes which were very well equipped and very cozy. all mod cons and very new/clean bathroom/facilities. suited our needs perfectly as family we were visiting lived very nearby. would hhighly recommend.

Negative: As a b and b, we only had 5 pods for the coffee machine for a 2 day stay. No kitchen facility as the other room next to us had. We never saw the owners again to ask if all was OK and if we needed anything.

Positive: It was more than we ever expected … gorgeous property & accomodation . Very comfortable . A quiet retreat if you want to just relax & reflect . Close to Edinburgh ( 20 minute train ride ) for a day trip from Glenarch House . Would recommend the train to Waverley station in Edinburgh . It’s a self catering property , so will need to work out meals for yourselves . Morrisons ( a supermarket) is relatively close for grocery shopping .

Negative: If there was a cooking hob , it would have been perfect .Otherwise , really nothing I did not like 😊

Positive: Location was excellent. Tucked away, surrounded by a large well kept garden making the property quiet and private. The room was a in a separate coach house annex with its own little patio area. Good coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge.

Negative: The lock on the entrance door worked from the inside but not the outside. Needs attention. Otherwise everything was great.
