Summary: My fiance and I came for a quick overnight trip for 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful stay! Definitely regret not staying longer, but we will definitely be back. We stayed in the Sterling room- it was spacious, quiet, and boasted a collection of books to peruse, as well as a Kurig and mini fridge. For an old house, the bathroom also was fairly roomy with a jetted tub and shower. The bed was super cosy and everything was very clean. This is an older property with all the quirks and charms of an old country house which was right up our alley. Breakfast was delivered to our door and delicious! The portion was perfect and the cookies upon arrival were soft and chewy. Proximity to downtown is also a plus while being a little tucked away from the action. If you’re looking for a relaxing and charming old school B&B with exceptional hospitality, Tom and Alison’s place is it!

Summary: Great atmosphere. Host was very responsive via text to give directions and the breakfast was so good we left a little later in the morning to make sure we got one more!

Summary: The location within walking distance to main Street Placerville and restaurants is excellent. The place feels a little run down and needs some maintenance and upgrades. However, the staff was very responsive on the text and catered to all my requests (e.g., early breakfast, dog bowls, running toilet, etc).

Summary: My dad and his wife stayed here for Valentine’s Day weekend, they absolutely loved it. Friendly staff, delicious breakfasts every morning and their dogs were welcome. They’re counting the days until they can go back.

Summary: Tom is an awesome host! Breakfasts were delicious and always on time - and even a "to go" option of you need to leave before 9:00 AM. Room was very cute. Remember, this building was built in the 1850's, so of course it's not modern.
