Positive: We've stayed at numerous lodges on this site as we like the area. It is a quiet and peaceful site. Location on park perfect, style and size perfect, however some aspects of cleanliness, attention to detail and comfort in sitting area let it down. However I would stay again with the hope some minor issues were rectified.

Negative: On initial entry the lodge appeared clean. However the dishwasher had been left with stagnate water in it and produced a horrendous smell when opened. Many of the dishes/glasses were not washed well. Lack of dish clothes/scourers in kitchen.The outer kitchen cabinets are high gloss and were smear marked especially the fridge/ freezer. The main bathroom shower had mildew around the silicone seal, this would definitely benefit from being renewed .The bath in second bathroom's water temperature was never hot enough to take a bath. The sofa in living area was uncomfortable, you had to choose your area to avoid sitting on hard areas of the sofa bed underneath. Display cushions were paper thin. The outside decking area was dirty and hadn't been swept or washed for quite sometime. There were two refuse bins, one was full and unemptied the second had rubbish still in it also. Keysafe not operational.

Negative: When I ordered the house I used that location in Booking. In that case it´s seems that these house were close to centre of Forfar which far from right. We would never rent the house if you knew that.

Summary: Otherwise the house was good and meeting exeception.

Positive: The place was very nice looking and roomy, good kitchen equipment and dishwasher. Also a couple of common cupboard items such as washing tablets, salt and ketchup were provided. Good heating too.

Negative: unfortunately one of the shower heads appeared to be malfunctioning so while usable it was inconvenient. Also no plastic or wood chopping board (that I could find)
