The Imperia Spa has undergone a luxurious transformation and is now open offering a luxurious escape, where the grandeur of a bygone age meets the wild beauty of Scotland’s natural landscape. Thermal & Relaxation Experiences include an outdoor sauna offering panoramic countryside views, Aroma Steam Room and Salt Steam Room alongside a deeply cleansing Pink Himalayan Salt Sauna. Wet Facilities include an indoor swimming pool. Guests can unwind in the soothing warmth of the outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool or experience invigorating contrast therapy in the Ice Fountain, Sensory Showers and Cold Plunge Pool. Wellbeing Studio and Fitness Suite Fitness facilities include gym features a dedicated free weights area, and Peloton bike. In the Wellbeing Studio, guests can join a variety of instructor-led classes, from yoga and Pilates. Negative: I loved everything about the hotel it was great for my mum that isn't good at walking far she found it hard getting around the hotel with all the steps and lay out was the only issue but she loved the hotel and staff.

Positive: Location , facilities on offer

Negative: The extra cost of using spar and golf course .. eg the main reasons for going, are then priced so high it’s a real struggle to warrant using them , seemingly very little ‘discount’ for being a hotel guest WiFi is complicated and drops out , no reason for it , just have normal WiFi that stays connected and does not require logging in

Positive: Situation is lovely. Bed was comfy. Spa is gorgeous.

Negative: The bathroom tiles were splattered with toothpaste. And shower didn't work properly.

Positive: Food in the hotel is very good, as were the staff. Great location for a trip into Glasgow by train, a game of Golf or just a relaxing couple of days

Negative: We had an issue with cleanliness in the room , despite an initial complaint to reception the house keeping team did noit remediate the issue, in fact we had to clean the dust ourselves ( the dust was all over the skirting boards at the side and behind the bed, and was quite considerable)
