Positive: This place is very special, situated between the mountains. Glamping was specious and the atmosphere was really nice. The owner Carlos was very friendly and made us feel welcome, sharing very interesting information about the area and Costa Rica.

Positive: It is really in the middle of nature, perfect for nature-lovers. We saw lots of birds and even monkeys in the nearby forest! Fireflies and stars in the garden at night. The hosts have done amazing job by converting an abandoned piece of land into a lovely garden with lots of native plants, organic coffee and fruits. They are passionate about conserving biodiversity in their property. The place is very peaceful and feels very safe. The staff were really friendly. Overall it was really good for that price.

Negative: The dome got really hot during the day (didn’t matter ’cause we were out anyways) but it cooled for the night. There were some bugs and spiders so if you’re scared of them, this might be too much.

Positive: So beautiful and peaceful! The casita felt spacious despite being small. The bed was super cozy-comfortable and the shower was hot! Free coffee, sugar, and a kettle in the room was a huge surprise and very nice gift! The host was very friendly and kind. She made a wonderful breakfast for us and we felt welcome all around the property. Exceptional star gazing and fireflies at night.

Negative: It’s a bit of a drive on steep roads but paved most of the way and totally worth it! We had a 2-WD car/low clearance and made it (in Dec) without issue.

Positive: The location is so nice, garden very beautiful and views of mountains around super. The dome is well furnished, comfortable and beautiful. Dinner and breakfast made for guests only was really good. Communication with host Carlos very smooth, responded quickly and so helpfull with all details for the accomodation and suggestion for a coffee & chocolate tour.

Negative: A bumpy road to get to the top of the mountain, but very much worth it!

Summary: Perfect place with perfect dome, would love to come back!

Positive: Carlos, our host, provided excellent directions to reach the property (which was very helpful, as it was a little complicated to get to). The property is absolutely beautiful! It sits at the base of a mountain, so you are surrounded by rainforest. Carlos and his wife did an amazing job of restoring this property. There are beautiful gardens, gazebos for enjoying the outdoors, pathways that lead between the domes and the historic farmhouse. We were the only guests staying, so it was like having a private glamping property all to ourselves. Carlos took great care of us with the included breakfasts and he made us dinner one night, which was excellent! The rooms (domes) were nice and functional (keeping in mind this is still glamping in the middle of nature, so expect some additional 'guests' like geckos and a couple bugs in the rooms). Overall, our stay was very relaxing and Carlos took great care of us!

Positive: The view is amazing. In the evening i could see the stars. In the morning, the rainbow in the garden is awesome.

Negative: It is too cold inside the dome, the water is too cold.. it is very difficult for me to take a shower. It is far from everything, but it is the price we have to pay for the good view.

Positive: The place is beautiful, big enough, and has everything that you need, especially kitchen stuffs. It definitely feels like ecolodge, which is what I’m looking for Costa Rica trip due to the tremendous nature in the country. The location is abit away from the town but it is closed to the cloud forest, San Luis mirador and has a really nice view going up to town.

Negative: I arrived dark and the road is quite bumpy, which is quite typical in Costa Rica, and so I was abit scared. However, you get used to the bumpy road and super dark night when the sun is out in this area. It’s all good since the drive to town was actually nice due to the spectacular view.
