Positive: The location was very special and unique.

Negative: The staff were very pleasant and kind It was not the check-in clerk’s fault but when we arrived a very needy customer was tying up the check-in process I would suggest that there be a supervisor who could step in and take care of those needy people who are unaware of others waiting

Summary: It was one of my favorite and most unique places to stay

Reviewer Type: Family With Children

Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location and the available tours

Negative: The reception staff were poorly trained and unable to explain the booking and payment system, which included the tour and the deposit. We are still waiting for an itemized bill, as it seems we paid more than we expected. We were not alone when we were checking in everyone else had the same query as to how the payment made on arrival was broken down

Summary: Excellent apart from the confusing payment deposit system.

Positive: The location is brilliant in terms of the glacier experience and skywalk as you travel up the Icefields Parkway and an experience to stay so close to the Glacier. The room and view were lovely and the welcome drinks and cheese/charcuterie boards were a lovely touch.

Negative: The restaurants in the evening felt like eating something nice but in a motorway services style canteen - didn't create the right look and feel at all. As it was close to the end of season there was also a lot not available on the menu both food and drink wise.

Summary: Great location, feels like a treat and perfect for stopping partway up the Icefields Parkway
