Positive: A very nice place to base ourselves, we only had one criticism, which was nothing to do with the property, you definitely need your own transport, as there is no local bus services passing on the road , near the house to go go into Bergerac for example to go further afield via train, it would have to be taxi both ways. The hosts were above and beyond anything we have experienced at any other place we have stayed at🥰🥰🥰 thanks to them and Thier help and generosity, we all agreed that they and Thier dog made this one of best holidays ever, so it is 5 glorious stars from us. The wife has reminded me should be 6 stars, as every morning fresh bread delivered, and in the house was home made jam to die for🥰 and the wildlife and horses were a joy to be on the door step🥰

Positive: The property was a lovely converted barn in a very quiet position. Although owners lived on site they were very discrete. Great that they delivered bread to us early every morning, plus they left us a selection of goodies!

Negative: Hardly anything! Just a couple of minor things missing from the otherwise well equipped Gite - no cook’s knives for food preparation; a tray would be useful for carrying things to outside table; a dishwasher and conventional oven

Positive: very clean. airy and plenty of room. great view and lovely hosts. fresh bred every morning. easy to get to Bergerac and many château’s. quite

Negative: we did get bitten rather a lot my insects so take some insect repellent. could do with some larger glasses to drink from. a few basics like salt and pepper oil for cooking we brought it and left it fir the next guests.

Summary: lovey gîte in the heart of the Dordogne countyside. lovey hosts who just left us to enjoy our time. would recommend this
