Positive: An exceptional gîte; spacious, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. The lift (elevator) to facilitate access to the upper floor for the wheelchair user in our family was particularly appreciated. Our host Philippe was welcoming and always ready to advise and assist. Situated in tranquil countryside with the rolling agricultural landscape of the Perche all around. The property has a lovely, mature garden, perfect for the family to enjoy dining al fresco or stargazing at night!

Positive: A perfect holiday apartment situated on an old farm which has been sensitively restored, the combination of old and new provides an unmistakable atmosphere. The apartment is huge and offers enough space and privacy even for larger families (perhaps the biggest holiday apartment I've been in and it's a nice change from small hotel rooms.). In the apartment you will find everything you need (washing machine, dryer, fireplace, very well-equipped kitchen, bathroom next to each bedroom, terrace, storage space, etc.). All equipment is of high quality and gives a professional impression. The place is located in a quiet place, off the main roads. On the other hand, it is easily accessible from the highway from the direction of Paris. The host Philippe will welcome you and show you around the apartment and explain how everything works and thus prevent misunderstandings. At the same time, he is available for any questions during the entire stay.

Negative: maybe just the length of stay, which could definitely be longer. It is important to prepare a vacation plan, there are mainly fields in the immediate vicinity, and it is necessary to consider that you have to travel by bike or car to find interesting places. For those who are looking for rest in a cozy place with an unmistakable atmosphere and amazing french architecture, with picturesque villages around, this is the best choice.

Positive: The location suited us as we had a wedding in the area. The place is spacious and beautiful and well kept

Negative: I think the proximity to the owner was a little challenging and I was more consious than normal of being in someone's home as I could hear and see them on oaccssion. Additionally there were some things the site said and the owner said differently. Like 500 deposit (which having used air bnb previously I had never heard about) but he told me 900 and Im supposed to leave at 10 but site said 10-11. The owner was quick to acquiesce and accommodate once I showed him site info. Plus on the day of arrival no one was there to let me in and no instructions were responded to on the website. The owner preferred to communicate via whats app but without prior info - how was i to know this I was sending messages on Booking but not getting any response. The owner is a lovely man just think he needs to know which booking system he's using and communicate with his clients in there.
