Summary: This was a lovely surprise, a gîte in a pretty village. It was a little hard to find, I was tired at the end of a day’s driving, but it is a gem. A friendly welcome and a big, comfortable room with a big bed and a bath were exactly what I needed for a stopover after a week camping. This is called a ‘cottage’, but it had four rooms, three of them upstairs which I did not see (or hear). My French is good enough to have a conversation with the owners, who have very little English.
