Summary: Five stars for everything. Superb gite beautifully equipped and finished. Felt very luxurious. Great location too for Suisse Normande. Annie was very helpful and provided everything we needed.

Summary: We spent a lovely week at in Rouvrou at Le Petit Oie. The property has bee thoughtfully designed and decorated with many interesting features. The kitchen area is larger and much better equipped than many other rental properties that we have stayed in. Annie and Didier were very helpful and attentive. They also organised daily deliveries from the nearest boulangerie (which is 3 miles away). Rouvrou is a quiet little hamlet. The nearest shops are in Pont D'Ouilly, around 3 miles away but there is also a good restaurant at La Roche D'Oetre, which is 30 mins walk or 5 mins by car. Definitely worth visiting on an evening to watch the sunset. The location is in the scenic Suisse Normande around 45 minutes from Caen or Bayeux and just under 1 hour from the Normandy beaches. Plenty of things to see and do. We would certainly recommend this as a rental property for a relaxing week in lovely countryside and hope to be back again soon!
