Positive: We loved the setting in beautiful gardens a short ride to the centre of Mysore. The owner and her extended family were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the breakfasts.

Positive: Superb cooked Indian veg breakfasts, with omelettes to order. Coffee was a mystery at first - our first encounter with 'decoction' coffee, but once we got the hang of it (small liquid coffee in the bottom of the cup then fill up with hot water!) it was fine. Breakfast in a lovely roofed open-air room in the most divine gardens. Facilities there included a fridge/freezer and microwave for personal food and drink. Wines and beer available to be recorded in an honesty book. The owners were pleased to recommend good restaurants (which with one exception, we loved), plus a home Cook who, with enough notice, made and delivered evening meals. We really rate this last service after days busy sightseeing! We must not overlook Yamuna, our wonderful host: she not only supervises everything, but is a most excellent concierge when it comes to arranging outings and onward travel.

Positive: Overall it was good, staffs were good, Yamuna hosted us quite well. Property was clean

Negative: With the price point it just ok, nothing extraordinary. It will be great if they do 1. Instead of two single bed joined can convert them to king sized. 2. Provide toiletries like brush. 3. Disposable slippers. 4. Security guards at night at the main gate

Positive: So peaceful. Beautiful bungalow houses and gardens. Yamuna and her family are so welcoming. We wished we could stay longer. Her parents coming for a chat at breakfast was so nourishing. Lovely breakfast. You must come here to relax and rejuvenate.

Positive: I stayed at this beautiful bnb for 10 days yes, it was such a wonderful experience that I had a hard time leaving. Everything about Gitanjali is exceptional: the tranquility, the gardens, the rooms, the breakfast and most importantly the lovely hosts. Being an avid birder, I was delighted to find many species of birds on and around the property. All in all, it is a world class gem!

Negative: The only minor drawback is that there isn’t anywhere you can go to eat within walking distance except the Ayurvedic Institute (which does have excellent vegetarian food), but it is easy to get an auto or taxi or order food using Swiggy or Zomato. The dinning area is well set up for eating delivered food.
