Positive: Exceptional ryokan with a genuine warm welcome and stunning views over the calm river from the traditional, spacious rooms. Out of town in a serene spot between two bodies of water. There are two private onsen and a public onsen, a shuttle bus, all sorts of comforting amenities. Beautiful.

Positive: The property was beautiful with breathtaking views. The amenities offered really made it feel like a luxurious stay and both the shared and private onsens were amazing. Staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. The free shuttle bus also made it extremely convenient when arriving/leaving the hotel.

Negative: Nothing, everything was exceptional.

Positive: The staff is so friendly. There's a night we had early dinner and was hungry at night when we get back to the resort. We are so glad that the resort has free udon delivered to our room for supper!

Positive: Nice and quiet, away from the town but still accessible. Lovely staff and wonderful amenities. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Negative: Not a deal breaker but the outside spot light could be masked in front of the room window. Just a small screen in front of it to stop from shining into the room.

Positive: The property was amazing but the highlight was how the staff treated us. Felt special since we arrived til the day we left. Will never forget this experience and will treasure the memories we had at ginka and kinosaki in general.

Positive: The hotel is absolutely beautiful! My room had an amazing view of the river and it was so peaceful. The private onsens were very nice, I can not comment about the public onsens because tattoos are still banned at this particular hotel. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful, and I can't even explain how friendly and accommodating the staff was! Wonderful and relaxing 2 days.

Negative: It is far from town, so planning trips with the shuttle was a little stressful. There really are no other options if you do not have a car with you.

Positive: Amazing views, lovely room and onsen. Good breakfast. I enjoyed every minute spent there.

Negative: Dinner was overpriced and not worth the money in my opinion. The shuttle service is hourly and you need to announce in advance you want to use it. This made our plans much less flexible, so we opted to use the taxi to the hotel - until there was no taxi to be found in the evening. To be fair, the hotel did then provide the shuttle with a short notice (10 min or so). Blackout blinds would also have been appreciated.
